The third quarter of 2022 saw varied performance trends among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform in Spain. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users for the leading apps in this category, with insights from Sensor Tower.

Request a ride had a noteworthy presence, with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 15.9K to 27K. The app saw a peak in early July with 27K downloads and a slight dip mid-August. Meanwhile, active users started at around 319K at the end of June, with a steady increase to approximately 336K by the end of September.

Bolt: Request a Ride also showed consistent engagement. Weekly downloads fluctuated between 13.2K and 19.6K, with notable peaks in early July and late September. Active users saw a general upward trend, starting at around 43.7K in late June and reaching approximately 46K by the end of September.

Cabify demonstrated steady download numbers, ranging from 9.6K to 14.6K. The highest weekly downloads were recorded at the beginning of July. Active users showed some fluctuations, starting at 69.5K in late June, dipping to about 54.3K in late August, and ending at approximately 62.5K by the end of September.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a varied download trend, with numbers ranging from 6.5K to 13.9K. The app saw a peak in early August with 13.9K downloads. Active users started at around 38K at the end of June, slightly fluctuating but generally maintaining a steady range, closing the quarter at approximately 36K.

GoTo Spain - Carsharing Madrid had the lowest download numbers among the top apps, ranging from 647 to 1.3K weekly downloads. Despite the lower numbers, there was a noticeable peak in late September.
